In order to safeguard the environment, the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) has passed a list of sustainability resolutions towards keeping its commitment to local green building and clean energy endeavors.
The 10 measures passed consist of the support of resilient communities, powerful building energy codes, Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grants and improving infrastructure.
The resolutions come up with a strong endorsement of support for introducing a sound sustainability agenda and were strongly backed and inspired by AIA and USGBC, which are mutually performing to augment the local green building policy toward their six-year strategic alliance.
